Phase I of M City will be a towering 60-storey behemoth designed by  Core Architects and SMV Architects (SCOOP, The Plant). Its imposing size will make this the city's tallest building. Faceted glass on the podium floors give way to skewed floorplates stacked in a repetitive pattern as the building rises, alluding the the fluid movement and lightness of a prism. This unique building will have over 700 units available for sale.

A place where life, work and play intersect: M City aims to bring its residents the best that Mississauga can offer. Located at Burnamthorpe and Confederation Parkway, this 9-tower, 15-acre, 4.3 million sq. ft. master-planned community will not only breathe new life into the area, but will also offer residents a new 2-acre parkland and a dedicated connection to the Mary Fix multi-use trail and John “Bud” Cleary Park. Tree-lined promenades, a range of retail shops and cafes at street level, and minutes to transit including the proposed LRT - you really can have it all. The master plan was designed by celebrated NYC-based urban planners Cooper Robertson.

This project is expected to be completed by summer 2019. Maintenance fees are estimated to be $0.50/square foot.

The M City development will bring green space, retail, and commercial and public amenities to Burnamthorpe and Confederation Parkway. “It was our intention to do something truly iconic to frame the downtown. We think this building really does achieve that,” said Mark Reeve, a partner in Urban Capital Developments, the company working with Rogers Real Estate Developments to build M City. “The design is quite unique. We thought it was a wonderful response to how popular the design of Absolute towers was,” he said.

CORE Architects was selected from among three Toronto firms for its rectangular floor plate design that is visually arresting but maintains conventional, efficient floor plans. The design is intended to be “iconic yet simple - something that would last the test of time,” said CORE Architects’ Babak Eslahjou.
